There are somethings that I just do not understand.
--In Arkansas, Southwest Airline employees found three containers in the cargo area containing 40 to 60 human heads. Let me say that again, they found human heads in a container...at an airport!
The three containers had nothing identifying what they contained and the shipping info was incorrect. The TSA agents had to open the boxes to identify the cargo.
What do you think the TSA workers were thinking when they popped open that box?
"Hey...uh...Joe, what...uh...what do you...uh...what do you think we should do about this?"
"Well, Fred...I think...uh...first things first...we should probably check for a pulse."
Seriously, how does this happen? Wouldn't the company that's shipping the heads handle this with a little more importance. How do you screw that up?!
--Kate Gosselin is rumored to be preparing to do a dating show, I.E. "The Bachelorette". Let me just say this, I DON'T CARE.
Look, lets be honest here. The Jon and Kate plus eight thing was cool for like a day (and that's being generous), but it's over...DONE.
No one cares anymore! Stop looking for fame and just be a mom. I get it, you need to have some kind of cash flow to take care of the litter you and Jon created. Can't really be seen getting WIC or going on welfare after all the "work" you've done to yourself.
I'm not saying I have an answer. I am just saying get yourself together woman. Really, people seriously DO NOT CARE anymore!
--MSNBC.com reported that a study found that whale poop is good for the o-zone. Again, read slowly, whale...poop...is...good...for...the...O-Zone! How about that? My question is...well...how do you figure that out?Like, who would've even thought that up?
Oh, and the poor guy that had to go and get the poop! How do you explain that to your friends?
"Yeah man, I can't play ball today. Uh...why? Huh...well...you see, I lost this bet with one of the scientist I work with. Yeah...the bet? Well...had to do with a dog, paper clip and 40lbs of sliced pumpernickel bread. Lets just say Rover won't be the same for a while. Anyway, I need to go catch some whale feces. Feces...ya know...uh...poop ...yeah, whale poop! Something about it cleaning the o-zone. How? Your asking me? How would I know...i'm the frickin' janitor!!"
Do you see what I mean? Three stories, that if you really think about it, don't make any sense. How does this stuff happen?

No Title.
-Two men stand face to face in a octagon shaped cage. A crowd of thousands surround them. An excitement that resembles that of the greek coliseum during an ancient gladitorial battle is in the air. Blood will be shed. -
Where does this excitement come from? What causes this overwhelming love for brutality? Where do these sick desires originate?
It's simple, as a whole, the human race is basically...derange. Yeah, sure, not everyone likes Mixed Martial Arts, but they have their own issues to work out.
So, unless you are living under a rock you've noticed it's rapid growth in popularity. The world needs to brace itself for the onslaught that's quickly approaching. The world of MMA is taking over, you can either ignore it or embrace it...either way you are going to have to deal with it. I choose to embrace.
Now we have another state embracing MMA. New York State Govenor, David Paterson, is now pushing to sanction MMA in the empire state. He says for fiancial reasons. We will know by the end of the month if Mixed Martial Arts will finally be legal in NY.
Understandably, not everyone is a fan of the sport. That's fine! Not everyone likes baseball, which is ok too. But please don't knock MMA. Learn it. Find a school that teaches Mixed Martial Arts, do the free week and give it a shot. You might find out that you actually like it.

My review of UFC 115 (sorry no pictures)
Never thought I'd see two guys beat the crap out of each other, then mid-fight, give each other a hug...then return to pummeling each other. Only in MMA! Seriously, its like a drunken fight between two relatives at a dysfunctional family reunion.
You have to love it!
I love Mirko CroCop, he's always so concentrated on what he is about to do. The stern look on his face when he walks to the octagon is awesome! He looks like he's about to rip someones head off! Like they just told him a bad Yo Mama joke. "Hey CroCop yo mama so stupid she sold her car for gas money." You know, something to that effect.
Poor Pat Barry! So convinced he was going to beat one of his MMA heroes. He came close, but CroCop just turned on the heat on in the second round and had it going full bore in the third. I enjoyed it!
It was sad to see Chuck Liddells career end like that. I had such high hopes for the end of his illusturous career! Maybe pounding Tito Ortiz into a big blond paralized pile of messy woman beater. I don't know, something like that!
It was such a sad sight though, wasn't it? It's not often you get to watch one of the most dominate fighters ever...crumble. To see him drop like that...man, it was just sad.
But that was it! We all watched the end of a legend...how upsetting.
Franklin just dropped Chuck, he looked like a preteen fainting after meeting that Justin Bieber girl! Almost as bad as when Machida dropped Rashad Evans!
I was really hoping that they would have slugged it out for three rounds and then come to a decision. No matter who won, if the fight was entertaining Chuck would probabally still get a shot to fight again.
Remember when Royce Gracie attempted to make a magnificent return to the octagon against Matt Hughes, only to have Hughes take his back and beat his head in like he was kneading dough!
Then there was this newcomer to the octagon that got a title shot against the great middleweight champ Rich "Ace" Franklin. This guy, Anderson Silva, thinks he is going to beat Ace...HA! Well, if you don't what happened there then you need to stop reading, go to wikipedia and look up MMA and maybe a quick glance at the twenty first century.
I had the same feeling after the end of that fight.
Anyway, that kind of went off topic.
Condit beat up a 20 year old...that was cool. Well, let's be honest here! Condit got beat up by a 20 year old, then relized he was losing to a 20 year old and proceded to kick the crap out of him like he was his little brother.
I know what that is like! My brother used to hold me down and play airplane with my head...not fun. Seriously though Carlos broke MacDonalds eye, fun!
Well that is all for now. My opinion one of the best all around cards I have seen in a long long time!

Here is my letter.
Dear People,
Some are aware that I used to write articles and blogs about Mixed Martial Arts. I even started a site called CageClinch.com that is/was dedicated to MMA. It's still up, although I haven't touched it in almost a year.
So here is what happened...I burned myself out.
Plain and simple. I got sick of writing my opinions about what was going on in the world of MMA and wanted to break some news.
Problem is I live in Syracuse, New York. Not much breaking news in my area. Yeah, Tamdan McCrory (former UFC welterweight) and Jon "Bones" Jones (UFC lightheavyweight) live not to far from here, which is great. Even with that there needs to be a better more available news.
So I quit. Didn't tell anyone. Just quit.
Now almost a year later, I decided to come back. Now with a renewed passion! I love MMA and I LOVE stand-up comedy. I like trying to look at things from a funnier perspective. My goal is to focus on MMA and MMA news, but from a...well, funnier perspective. I will also try to throw in some Stand-up comedy here and there.
I am 100% aware that this will take time to be rip roaring funny, but please stick with me. Constructive critism SUCKS, so please be nice.
